Hello! I noticed in my chart that I have a conjunction with Chiron but I don’t think I heard you talk about it.

Hi, Amy! Thank you for your question! If you haven't done so, be sure to listen to the episode called "Chiron: The Wounded Healer," where there's lots of helpful info about this fascinating planetoid. In terms of Chiron conjunctions, the meaning would depend on a variety of factors, such as which planet(s) or sensitive points it's conjunct with, as well as the house and sign the conjunction is in, among others. Chiron is where we are wounded and where/how we have an opportunity to bring healing to others, while conjunctions are a blending of planetary energy. So, consider the energy of the planet(s) that forms the conjunction and blend that with the Wounded Healer energy. Another way to put this is that the energy that the conjunct planet represents, or the area(s) of your personality/life it represents, is where your wound is and where you can bring healing to the world. Slightly different would be a Chiron conjunction with one of the lunar nodes. People with Chiron conjunct the NN often become healers and/or work in the healing professions or become spiritual teachers; those with Chiron conjunct the SN may be learning to let go of patterns they've carried with them for lifetimes. Hope that helps!

Hi Stefanie - I've noticed on a couple of different astrology sites such as astro seek where there are aspects to the same planet. For instance "Transit Moon opposition Moon". I was under the impression that the aspects are between different planets. Can you explain how this occurs?

Hi, Deb! Love this question! It sounds like you are referencing a transit aspect, rather than a natal chart aspect. In this particular case, astro-seek is describing the transit moon (meaning the moon that would currently be in the sky today, or on any day someone might look up their transit chart) being on the exact opposite side of the natal chart as that person's natal moon when they were born. So, if - let's say - you were born with your moon at 10 degrees Libra, and the current moon tonight were at 10 degrees Aries, then you'd currently be experiencing a "Transit Moon Opposition Moon" or "Transit Moon Opposition Natal Moon" transit. You can also have Transit Moon conjunct Natal Moon (your monthly Lunar Return), Transit Moon Square Natal moon, or Transit Moon Trine Natal Moon, etc. I hope this makes sense. I'll definitely begin talking about transits and transit charts on the show at some point.
