Hi Roy! This is a great question! So, one thing to know about nodes is that they are points that are actually pretty wiggly. They wobble a lot. The "mean" node accounts for this wobble and uses a mathematical calculation to sort of average out the wobble and create a nice estimate of where the node should/would actually be. The true node, though, is the actual exact spot of the node at an exact moment in time. Before home computers and birth chart calculators were widely available, figuring out the true node would have been exceedingly difficult and time consuming for most people, which is why mean nodes used to be more common. These days, true nodes are calculated automatically at the click of a button, and so now those tend to be more common. That being said, try looking at both and see what resonates for you most. Usually it won't be more then a few degrees either way and you might not feel a difference. For some people - like me - it matters a lot because it changes the sign (or for some people, the house). My true node, for example, is at 29 Virgo, while my mean node is at 0 Libra. Honestly, I can kind of resonate with both of those in my life, so it gets fuzzy. Personally whenever something in astrology feels like it could go one way or another like that, I always think it's possible to experience both things, and maybe that is intentional on Spirit's part. Just my opinion though.
